NOTE
Proxy Pattern
Interposing an object to control or augment access to another object while preserving its contract.
This is a historical learning note and may contain outdated or incomplete understanding.
A proxy exposes the same or compatible interface as a target while intercepting access. Typical uses include remote calls, lazy loading, access control, caching, metrics, transactions, and AOP-style interception.
The proxy must preserve important behavioral semantics. Hidden network I/O or retries behind a local-looking interface can surprise callers, so latency, failure, and lifecycle boundaries should remain visible in API design.
