NOTE
Architecture Diagrams
Communicating system boundaries, dependencies, data flows, deployment units, and operational context.
This is a historical learning note and may contain outdated or incomplete understanding.
An architecture diagram communicates the system at a chosen level of abstraction: users and external systems, deployable services, data stores, messaging, network boundaries, or internal components.
State what level the diagram represents, label important protocols/data flows, and show ownership/failure boundaries when they affect the design. Avoid mixing every abstraction level in one picture. Multiple focused diagrams are easier to maintain than one giant box-and-arrow map.
